The Higher Music students of Saint Hilda's will be presenting a concert on the 25th of June and it will be held at the Esplande Recital Hall.
The piano recital will feature works from Bach, Chopin, Brahms, Debussy, Mozart and many others. There will be solo performances, 4-hand piano duets, along with violin-piano and vocal-piano works.
The pianists are made up of the Higher Music Performance Majors, Joshua Yong and Wayne Teo, along with Composition Major, Kion Cheun Rong. Also performing will be Virtuoso Violinist, Annabel Koh, who will be accompanied on the piano by Wayne, and outstanding Soprano, Melissa Gazder, who will be accompanied on the piano by Joshua. Our Composition Major, Kion Chuen Rong will be showcasing two pieces.
However that's not all! In addition, the Hildan Chorale will be collaborating with Vox Camerata, a Singapore based choir, and under the baton of Mohd Shahril, they will be performing chorale music from composers such as Moses Hogan and Anton Bruckner, among others.
Tickets will be sold at $20 each and you could approach any of us or the music teachers (Mr. Shahril and Ms. Lam) for the tickets.
This is one concert not to be missed, so grab them as fast as possible as there are limited number of seats! You are more than welcomed to invite your friends or family. Please kindly inform us if you are interested or not.
